Job Description Summary
The Psychology of Eating And Consumer Health (PEACH) Lab at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is currently seeking part-time research assistants (RAs) for a research study working with a food pantry in Northeast Philadelphia.

The study is a randomized control trial examining a behavioral economic intervention. This is a fieldwork position that involves recruiting research participants from a waiting room and completing basic study measurements such as height, weight, and blood pressure. Transportation to and from the food pantry is available from campus. RAs who drive will be reimbursed for travel costs.

Desired skills:

- Customer service skills

- Comfortable with open, two-way communication among team members

- Strong organizational skills

- Competency in Excel, Google Sheets, and/or REDCap

- Ability to speak Russian a plus! But not required

Job description:

- Regularly travel to research site in Northeast Philadelphia

- Recruit and enroll participants into research studies over face to face

- Conduct informed consent and cross-sectional interviews face to face

- Manage and enter data

- Attend Lab meetings via phone or Bluejeans video chat and provide feedback on fieldwork experiences

Required availability:

RAs work between 8 and 28 hours per week. Available shifts are as follows:

Tuesdays 12-7pm (includes lunch break and travel time to/from Pantry)
Wednesdays 11am-5pm (includes lunch break and travel time to/from Pantry)
Thursdays 11am-5pm (includes lunch break and travel time to/from Pantry)
